![]() ![]() Just in comparison the Zoo is 48SGD and is 3 times the attraction of what this is. Is the experience really bad? It not bad in itself but when you look at the price tag then it becomes bad. Most be if you sit down and watch the main tank for 90 minutes. How anyone can spend 2 hours (which is the time RWsentosa lists) is beyond me. I spent less than 30 minutes her because its not big and half the aqurium is just the same 2-3 big tanks. This is a small to medium sized aquarium being priced as a premium attraction. It will be a long time before I visit again. It made the entire visit highly unpleasant (and unhygienic!!!) and unbefitting of an aquarium experience which I associated more with peace and tranquility. However, the entire place was full of screaming kids (some had mothers who screamed along with them), families who sat everywhere in front of the tanks and blocked your view, and sick visitors who were not just unmasked but coughed and sneezed without covering mouths and noses. Tickets were cheaper if bought in advance online, rather than through the ticketing machines outside. The only exhibit that was concerning was the dolphin one that seemed very small, bare and shallow for animals of that intelligence level. Quite abit of effort has gone into most of the exhibits in ensuring asesthetics and that the sea creatures have space to rest and hide. For someone with childhood memories of Underwater World, the visit starts with a nostalgic travellator ride through the Shipwreck Zone. Decent-sized aquarium with some classic and interesting species like the manta ray, Napolean wrasse, elephant fish and garden eel. ![]()
